Book a tour to experience the magic of our preschool firsthand

The View Pre School Group

January 2026 Newsletter

Dear Parents/Carers,

Happy New Year to you all and a big welcome to many new families to our preschools and it has been lovely to see your children building new relationships and settling confidently into new routines.

Please know that if you have any queries we are always available to chat in person or by telephone/email.

Our sessions are filling up

As the term is progressing, spaces at all our lovely pre-schools are filling up fast and this is just a reminder that if you would like to use your full entitled 15 hours or 30 hours before the end of the academic year then please book your child’s space as soon as possible.

Thank you to all our families for always recommending us.

A plea for potted plants

We wondered if any of our families could kindly donate any spare potted house plants or potted garden plants (any size) to the pre-schools?

As you know we endeavour to create a calm, natural environment for our children and through the guidance of ‘The Curiosity Approach’ and ‘Hygge in the Early Years’ Accreditations, caring for plants is one of the most wonderful ways to do this. We can involve the children in the care of the plants too 😊

Very Warm Clothes and Wellies

Please provide your child with wellie boots or spare shoes and a warm waterproof coat for Preschool during the Winter months.

Also please dress them in warm appropriate clothing as the playroom door is continuously open (Early Years requirements) and the children access the outside area throughout the entire session. The inside area although heated before the session, can become cold during the session.

We will be using both the inside area and outside area daily – come rain, shine or snow – thank you

No nuts

An important reminder that we are NUT FREE SETTINGS – we currently have a little one with a nut allergy so please support us to ensure that safety is our top priority.

Healthy movers

At Priory View and Crescent View we have been on our ‘Healthy Movers’ journey for quite a while now where we incorporate a daily fun session into our Preschool routine.

These sessions link to our weekly Seasonal themes and encourage our children to develop a love of physical activity and to develop their confidence, motivation and resilience. At Bayside View we are gradually introducing it to the children.

Next half term we will invite you all in to observe ‘Healthy Movers’ in practice and to review your child’s Learning Journal with their Key Person – more details to follow shortly.
