The schools open Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 12:00
Lunch club is open Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 13:00

We provide quality childcare for children age 2 - 5

Children are eligible for 15 hours funding per week which commences the term after their 3rd birthday. Full costs can be found on our Fees page.

An additional contribution of £2.50 per session is required to cover the cost of additional services which are not covered by the grant, i.e. healthy snacks, parties and above ratio of staff for certain sessions.

Lunch club is £5.50 per unfunded session.

Fees are payable in advance and can be paid weekly, monthly or a term in advance. Four weeks notice must be given and fees paid in full if you wish to leave.

Staffing arrangements meet the needs of all children and ensure their safety. At Priory View we ensure that children are adequately supervised, including whilst eating.

The ratio and qualification requirements below apply to the total number of staff available to work directly with children. We adhere to these statutory requirements.

For children aged two:

  • there must be at least one member of staff for every four children
  • at least one member of staff must hold an approved level 3 qualification
  • at least half of all other staff must hold an approved level 2 qualification

For children aged three and over in registered early years provision where a person with Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, Early Years Teacher Status or another approved level 6 qualification, is working directly with the children:

  • there must be at least one member of staff for every 13 children
  • at least one other member of staff must hold an approved level 3 qualification. For children aged three and over at any time in registered early years provision when a person with Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, Early Years Teacher Status or another approved level 6 qualification is not working directly with the children:
  • there must be at least one member of staff for every eight children
  • at least one member of staff must hold an approved level 3 qualification
  • at least half of all other staff must hold an approved level 2 qualification

We are rated Good by Ofsted.

Your child will also be provided with lots of messy play activities during the session, painting, playdough, etc, so please make sure your child wears old clothes as we cannot take responsibility for clothes getting dirty or damaged. Please ensure that your child wears suitable shoes e.g. closed toe shoes/trainers to prevent injury to toes.
